Welcome to Muzuri
A family beauty brand born from a love for cosmetics, expert knowledge, and a consistent approach to uncompromising quality.
Our story
Our story began in 2020. In November 2022, the brand underwent a major transformation, when the original name MadBeauty changed to Muzuri. The name is derived from the Swahili word “uzuri”, meaning beauty, complemented by the letter M, which has personal significance for the owners. Together, this created a name that naturally captures our philosophy of beauty, care, and a personal approach.
The brand owner has been dedicated to cosmetics for many years. It is her passion, her field, and her everyday inspiration. She has extensive knowledge of ingredients, active substances, and their real effects on the skin. She puts her knowledge, attention to detail, and love into every product. If she isn’t satisfied with something, the product simply won’t be released to the market.
We all use the cosmetics—our entire team and our loved ones too—so the products go through everyday personal testing and real-life experience.
Our cosmetics are handmade in Eastern Slovakia with an emphasis on high-quality, premium raw materials. The products are vegan, cruelty-free, and created with respect for both skin and nature.
Our range
We started with Hydraser and Nightser, which quickly became popular among our customers. Other products were created gradually, always based on what the owner personally missed and couldn’t find on the market in the quality she envisioned. What was missing, she simply created.
All products are very personal and developed to provide a real benefit for the skin. They help us and our customers address issues such as:
- dry and sensitive skin
- acne or problematic skin
- wrinkles and loss of elasticity
- rosacea
Currently, we offer 11 products and we are constantly working on new launches—things we ourselves are missing and that we know will make sense and have a real effect.
Our store
A major milestone was December 2023, when we opened our own store combined with a café. Customers can find the full Muzuri product portfolio here, try everything in person, get expert advice, and also enjoy excellent coffee or croissants. This created a place where beauty meets a pleasant atmosphere and relaxation.
